Photographer Liz Cockrum will be exhibiting her new series of photographs,
“Sirens” at Holeman Surf Designs Custom Gallery in Oceanside. “Sirens”
focuses on women of all ages and skill levels in today’s California
surf culture through portrait, location and still life photography.

Cockrum,
who currently resides in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, has had her documentary style
photographs exhibited nationally and published in magazines such as
Photo District News and Camera Austria. She began this series of
photographs in September 2007.

“Sirens”
will be on exhibit at 222 Wisconsin Avenue in Oceanside from December
10th - January 3rd, 2008. A meet the artist opening reception will
take place in the gallery on December 15th from 6-9pm. Please join us for excellent art work and complimentary food and drinks! Custom handpainted surfboards, surf jewerly and other crafts will also be on display. A portion of all proceeds from photo sales will be donated to the Surfrider Foundation.
