This report is for water quality only. Contact your local lifeguard service for hazards associated with rip currents and large surf.

A GENERAL ADVISORY has been issued for the San Diego County coastline due to contamination by urban runoff following rain. The GENERAL ADVISORY will end on Monday, December 10. The GENERAL ADVISORY applies to ocean waters as well as Mission Bay and San Diego Bay. While many coastal outlets are posted with permanent metal warning signs, additional temporary signs are not posted for General Advisories.
