International Board Chair, Steve Hathaway, today announced that Dr Dave Jenkins
has taken up the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SurfAid
International.

“Dave will lead and represent SurfAid worldwide and will
also continue to provide essential inputs to the field program. In light of this
we have discontinued his previous position of Medical Director. The SurfAid
International Board wishes Dave well in his expanded role,” he
said.

Hathaway said he was also very pleased to announce the appointment
of Andrew Judge to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

“Andrew has a background in law and extensive experience working with
major international corporations on strategic and compliance matters,” he said.

“Over the past two years, Andrew has been working on projects with
indigenous groups in New South Wales, Australia, and undertaking postgraduate
work with the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies. He will
be based in Sydney and have responsibility for international operations.

“The International Board is pleased to have an excellent management team
to carry the work of SurfAid forward,” Hathaway added.
