Saxen International Signs National Junior Champion Andrew Doheny to Management Deal
January 22, 2008- - Los Angeles – Management, event, and consulting firm Saxen International announced today that it has formalized a management deal with National Junior Champion and 15-year-old sensation Andrew Doheny.Saxen International, led by entrepreneur and former top rated professional surfer Bron Heussenstamm, will now oversee the development, organization, negotiation, and administration of all endorsement, marketing, and public relation opportunities for the talented youngster.

Heussenstamm adds, “I am extremely excited to work with Andrew. Not only is he one of the best young surfers in the world, he comes from a great family and is an extraordinary individual. He has a tremendous opportunity to obtain the highest levels of success both in and out of the water.” Doheny, from the surf industry epicenter of Newport Beach, has been a stalwart in the amateur ranks; he has won countless National Scholastic Surfing Association regional competitions. In 2007, the NSSA dubbed him the number one ranked American contender under 16-years-old. As a member of Team USA in 2008, Andrew will not only focus his sites on repeating as National Junior Champion, he will compete with the stars and stripes for the World Junior Championships in May.Andrew joins World Championship Tour surfers Ben Bourgeois of North Carolina and Roy Powers of Hawaii under Saxen International’s management.
