Art As Therapy: A sensual blend of painting and photography that draws its energy from the ocean, designed to soothe the psyche with color and form. The art is created by two artists who have been deeply touched by a life near and in the sea.

On the photography side of the equation is Jon Steele- seasoned water photographer shooting for the likes of Surfer, Surfing, Transworld Surf, Surfer’s Path, Men’s Journal and the New York Times. Jon now holds the post of Photo Editor for the ever expanding Surfshot Magazine - based in San Diego and now covering all of California surfing.

Jon will join painter Wade Koniakowsky, owner of the Ocean Art Gallery. Wade is a nationally known ocean artist bringing to life the warmth and color of the tropics in oil paint. Together these two artists will present the latest imagery from their travels and time in the studio in what promises to be therapy for the ocean loving soul.
