Surf Photos – SSW swell and a punchier shot of WNW energy gives the Central California Coast some Love.

I usually stick around Southern California on the bigger Southern Hemi swells, particularly when you have some bonus tropical SE swell (and minor NW windswell) slipping in as well. This time I just happened to have a trip planned to go up to Santa Cruz for the weekend…and the mix of SSW swell, along with medium period WNW-NW energy (290-300+), made for some good looking waves slipping into spots that many of us normally associate with bigger winter surf.
