Surf for Monday – A touch of texture but still some playful peaks at the combo breaks.

Monday the weather really starts to clean up…though winds in the outer waters are going to try and spin up a little eddy. The mix of fading swell will still have enough energy to stay playful at the top spots.

Sunday’s Surf – Bumpy with onshore winds…maybe a rare bubble of smaller bump here and there.

Sunday isn’t looking like much of a surf day…the storm front that is arriving here on Saturday is still sticking around tonight and will have finally pushed on by Sunday morning. On the good side things will start to dry out…on the bad, the NW winds that usually follow the storm front will be on tap through the morning and just get stronger by the afternoon.

This will also bring a bunch more WNW-NW swell to mix with our decent sized S swell…so despite the weather you will want to keep an eye on the protected breaks.

Thursday’s Surf – Lots of swell but the weather is looking pretty schizo

Two solid swells move in on Thursday, a chunky W-NW short-period stormswell, and a pretty good sized S swell that is grinding in from the Southern Hemi. Unfortunately the weather is being a bit of a pain in the butt…All is not lost though, as always with dynamic systems like this little gaps, pockets, eddies form as the storms pass through the area…so at least put your gear in the car.

Waves for Wednesday – Decent morning winds with a tapering off WNW swell and new S in the water

Wednesday looks surfable…the morning winds look fairly nice despite another storm looming off the coast. The WNW-NW energy will continue to back down but a new longer-period S swell fills in and we may see a bit of combo action at the best exposed spots.
