The new round of S-SW swell will hold into Thursday mixing with NW swell leftovers, a touch of windswell, and some clean, warm, sunny conditions…now all we have to do it get past the stupid morning high tide.

Waves for Wednesday – A little boost of WNW-NW swell and a little pulse of S-SW energy to help tide us over

Waves for Wednesday – A little boost of WNW-NW swell and a little pulse of S-SW energy to help tide us over

Wednesday will be surfable…the winds aren’t excellent…but still even with the bump there will be swell in the water, and once we power through the high tide things should be rideable if not fun at the top spots.

Tuesday’s Surf – Fading but rideable once we slog through the swampthing

Tuesday’s Surf – Fading but rideable once we slog through the swampthing

Tuesday is looking rideable but the mix of high-morning tide, fading NW energy, and holding but inconsistent S-SW blend will keep it from being all that great. Don’t count it completely out…the wind/weather will be nice and may keep the window open long enough to get a few lower tide lines before winds get to it.

Cleaner conditions this week but fading swell. Bigger storms still forming out the back!

Unfortunately we are going to have a few days of smaller swell on tap as we move through the week…oh it won’t go totally flat…but everything, even the weather, gets toned down a bunch. Sunday’s Surf – Bumpy with onshore winds…maybe a rare bubble of smaller bump here and there.

Sunday isn’t looking like much of a surf day…the storm front that is arriving here on Saturday is still sticking around tonight and will have finally pushed on by Sunday morning. On the good side things will start to dry out…on the bad, the NW winds that usually follow the storm front will be on tap through the morning and just get stronger by the afternoon.

Saturday’s Surf – Maybe a morning window…depends on yet another approaching storm

Saturday morning may be rideable, might even be fun (if you don’t mind poo in your lineup), but yet again it is all dependent on the next approaching storm front, which is likely to move through the region midday Saturday.

Friday’s Storm – oh yea more rain…

Friday’s Storm – oh yea more rain…

Friday, despite the nice mix of swells in the water, will not be much of a surf day thanks to another storm moving through the area promising to bring more rain and onshore wind. Forecasts have the front moving through the region in the morning…so keep an eye on conditions…since there may be some tricky little pockets of surfyness forming as things move around.
