The big-ass storm is still sitting off to the NW of Hawaii…but there are a lot of people chewing some fingernails tonight. It sounds like Quik is going to pull the trigger, but they are worried about a couple of things…the biggest of which is that while the NW Hawaii Buoy is showing 18-20 feet but the much closer to shore Waimea buoy is considerably smaller.
